Sam Wood qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2017 and has since specialised in providing accounting and tax advice to primarily small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s) and owner managed businesses.
Prior to joining Albert Goodman in July 2023, Sam worked for a regional accountancy practice in the South-West before working at the UK’s leading specialist Research & Development tax credit consultancy for nearly five years.
In his role at Albert Goodman, Sam specialises in providing R&D tax for advice SME & RDEC businesses in all sectors and will be responsible for providing clients with specialist consultancy advice. Furthermore, Sam sits within Albert Goodman’s Corporation Tax team providing compliance and tax-planning advice for incorporated businesses across multiple sectors.
Sam is helping to grow Albert Goodman’s Bristol office since its opening in the summer of 2023, but he also spends his time in Taunton and the other offices in the South-West.
