Michael Cahill qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 and has since specialised in providing accounting, tax and commercial advice to incorporated and owner managed businesses. He works with clients in a wide range of sectors including construction and property, engineering, wholesale, retail and the services industry. Michael works with business across Somerset in towns such as Taunton, Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Wellington
Michael Cahill has a real understanding of both the financial and emotional pressures clients may experience when running their own business – his parents started their own company in 1995 and his brother has progressed to become a director in the company. Michael continues to provide support, which includes the accountancy and tax affairs. Michael aims to help to provide clients with up to date advice and find them solutions to the issues they face which are innovative but practical. Michael is skilled at conveying accounting practice clearly, without jargon and makes clear the implications and effects of various courses of action will have.
Michael Cahill has also taken on the responsibility of judging the Albert Goodman Family Business award at the Somerset Business Awards and takes great enjoyment in getting to know the fantastic Somerset Businesses that enter.
Outside of work, Michael has a keen interest in a number of sports and is busy spending time with his young family.
