I joined Albert Goodman in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree from Bath University. The degree included a year’s intern placement at Mars UK where I specialised in procurement for Western Europe.

Starting at Albert Goodman my training needs were immediately supported, ensuring I had the best support to undertake examinations and I had a solid development plan which challenged and supported me throughout the 3 year training contract. After initially working within our farming department I transferred to our audit and assurance department. The firm has many different specialist departments giving you the opportunity to develop your career in your area of interest.

Following qualification I worked with a portfolio of clients and developed specialisms in the education and construction sectors. In 2018 I became an audit partner at Albert Goodman which was less than 10 years after starting as a trainee.

Albert Goodman is a very friendly and sociable firm with plenty of opportunities to develop and specialise. The firm will push you guaranteeing that you are constantly involved with new challenges. Life here is never dull!
