Director of Cloud Accounting

Clare Blackmore joined Albert Goodman in 1986 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1993.

Clare is Cloud Accounting Director at Albert Goodman, and is responsible for leading our team of Xero, Quickbooks and Sage qualified accountants across our Taunton, Yeovil, Bristol, Weymouth, Bridgwater, Chard, Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea offices. Clare also led the team to win the Xero’s Large Firm of the Year award in November 2018. Clare believe that cloud accounting is a perfect fit with Albert Goodman’s philosophy of contributing to the client’s success as it enable the team to use real-time information to support the clients in running their business, hellping them to make good decisions and saving them on tax costs whilst still achieving their goals.

She also looks after a mixed portfolio of commercial, education and academy clients.  She has extensive accountancy and business advisory experience and enjoys helping individuals and organisations achieve their financial aims.

Clare Blackmore is also Chair of Governors of a Taunton academy primary school which converted in 2011 and this has given her a strong practical interest in academies.  She hosted the inaugural meeting of the local Primary Academy Business Managers Group held at Albert Goodman last year and now hosts a meeting once a term for this group.
