The Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme
In the UK, large entities are required to carry out compulsory energy saving assessments on their domestic buildings, industrial processes and transportation. This includes listing total energy consumption and trying to identify where savings can be made.

The next staging date for ESOS is 31 December 2022, if you will have 250 people employed within your business or a turnover of more than £44million and a balance sheet of £38million, at this date, you will be caught by the regulation.

SECR requires quoted companies, large unquoted companies and large LLPs to disclose information on their greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption and efficiency as part of their director reports.
