Many of our clients refer friends, colleagues or relatives, and we welcome the opportunity to work with extended families. Our advice is for the long term, and often spans generations.
We put our clients first. This means a fair and open charging structure, where we are paid for the work that we do, rather than as a percentage of assets, or by commissions. Our advisers are all salaried, and we do not pay bonuses or commissions. This makes us fair and competitive.
We have offices across the South West of England, and have clients throughout the UK. We are happy to meet you at home, in the office, or use video conferencing to fit in with you.
The Financial Advice Process
The financial advice process is a journey, and the first 5 steps below are the start of this journey. Once on this journey we enjoy ongoing relationships with our clients, sometimes spanning generations.
Step 1
Our initial meeting is always free. This is an opportunity for you to let us know what you are looking for, and to discuss how we can help.
Imagine this step as meeting your GP. If you require a specialist consultant at this point, we will involve a different team member with a specialism in a particular area.
Step 2
We collate all the information we need. This may be by contacting existing product providers, researching current investments, and in some cases asking more questions of you.
Using this information we can assess your position and consider different solutions for you.
Step 3
Once agreed with you, we will produce and present to you a financial plan, with recommendations tailored to you. We will discuss this and answer any questions that you may have.
We offer a cash flow planning service, which uses assumptions to project forward and consider different outcomes.
We work with other professionals where needed, for example our in-house tax advisors and accountants, or solicitors to look at any other needs.
Step 4
Implementing the recommendations, and assisting with any paperwork as needed, such as applications.
Step 5
Ongoing reviews and maintenance of your portfolio to see how you are progressing towards your goals, update your circumstances and work on new objectives or improvements. We are in contact with every one of our clients every year, sometimes more often. You can decide the level of service that you would like to receive.
