Jacob joined Albert Goodman in September 2023 as a trainee accountant in the business services department. Going through school Jacob had no idea what he wanted to be when he grew up until after his work experience at a local accountancy firm, this gave him insight enough to persuade him that accountancy was the job for him. Jacob left sixth form with A levels in Maths, Business and Economics and was still eager to become an accountant. Jacob had no intention of going to university so figured an apprenticeship in accounting would be the best route for him.
Jacob has started his Level 3 AAT qualification and is hoping to complete that by Spring 2025, with the goal being to keep going and eventually become a chartered accountant.
Outside of work, Jacob is a season ticket holder for Bristol Rovers attending most of the home games and even some away games, Jacob is also enjoy watching F1 and is hoping to go to a grand prix next season as well as spending time with his family.
