Practice Protection Coordinator
The role
Accountancy is a highly regulated field, and it’s important that we have processes in place to ensure we comply with all legal and ethical requirements. This not only ensures we meet professional standards, but shows that we are a trustworthy firm for our clients. We’re also passionate about developing our people, both in terms of soft skills and technical skills, including the trainees that join AG.
Our Practice Protection team provide, facilitate and coordinate training and development for all of our people and support the implementation of change projects, efficiency, regulation and quality improvements throughout Albert Goodman. We’re looking for a Coordinator to join this specialist team and provide high level administrative support.
You’ll be supporting with a number of key activities including organising and booking training, regulatory compliance, taking a lead on health & safety, and ensuring our systems are up to date. You’ll play a crucial role in the Practice Protection team, ensuring that our training calendar runs smoothly and the regulatory reviews and checks we need are in place.
Our ideal candidate is someone proactive, methodical and highly organised, with great communication skills, both verbal and written. You’ll get to work with a variety of people across AG, so people skills and the ability to build relationships will be a big part of this role. Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills are a must, as well as an eye for detail and a flexible approach.
What we need from you
- High level administrative experience, ideally within a busy office or professional services environment
- Experience of supporting and liaising with a variety of stakeholders
- Confidence, and excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail; use of initiative and ability to work to deadlines
- Good planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Software skills or the ability to pick up new software, including Microsoft Office, Teams and Excel
