Chris Walford is an experienced chartered accountant who has vast experience of advising clients of all sizes. Prior to joining Albert Goodman, Chris was responsible for the North Somerset audit offering at another large regional firm of accountants and thus brings a great deal of experience and expertise to the role.
Chris Walford runs our Weston-super-Mare office and is responsible for leading our development in this exciting region. Chris works with a wide variety of businesses both above and below the audit threshold and has worked with some of the regions best-known businesses. Chris has a particular focus on providing owner-managed and family businesses with practical, commercial and strategic advice.
As a Business Service Partner, Chris Walford provides compliance and advisory services to a broad portfolio of business clients (predominantly SME) and their shareholders. Specialising in audit, compliance services, strategic advice, tax advisory, and transaction support.
Chris Walford also acts as our judge for the Business Leader Awards where Albert Goodman is proud to sponsor the Family Business Award. Chris is a regular at networking events across North Somerset and Bristol, and when not working loves watching England play test cricket and walking his dog, an Italian Spinone.
