Albert Goodman appoints VAT specialist

Albert Goodman has appointed a VAT specialist with over 33 years of experience in dealing with complex VAT matters. Steve Chamberlain joins Albert Goodman from another regional firm and will strengthen our existing VAT team. Steve spent 10 years working as a VAT inspector with HM Customs and Excise before it merged to become HMRC and then worked within a 'Big 4' national accountancy firm.

Steve specialises in:

• Land, Property, and Construction
• Charities, in particular education, heritage, arts, care, and welfare
• Negotiations/Disputes with HMRC

Steve lives in North Somerset and will split his time between our Taunton and Weston-super-Mare offices. Living in North Somerset allows Steve to indulge in his passions for Fish and Chips, Thatcher's Cider and walks on the beach.
