Steve joined Albert Goodman in 2021 from another regional firm, strengthening Albert Goodman's existing VAT team. Steve has 33 years of experience in dealing with complex VAT matters and spent 10 years working as a VAT inspector with HM Customs and Excise before it merged to become HMRC, following this Steve worked within a 'Big 4' national accountancy firm.
Steve specialises in Land, Property, and Construction, Charities, in particular, education, heritage, arts, care, and welfare, and negotiations/disputes with the HMRC.
Steve lives in North Somerset and will split his time between our Taunton and Weston-super-Mare offices. Living in North Somerset allows Steve to indulge in his passions for Fish and Chips, Thatcher's Cider and walks on the beach.
