Katie Hodge began her accountancy career with a small firm in Bridgwater where she gained her AAT qualification. Having previously worked in accounts, she then studied and completed her ACA exams and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Deciding to then specialise, she completed her CIOT exams and qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor.
Katie has undertaken various areas of work in the past and has experience working with a large range of taxes with a specialism in all areas of personal taxation. Having been at her previous employer for 11 years, Katie then decided it was time to move on to another challenge and joined the team at Albert Goodman in December 2019, based in the tax department in Taunton.
Outside of work, Katie’s hobbies and interests include holidays where she enjoy getting away and visiting new places, food and cooking as well as cocktails and catching up with the girls. She also played badminton for quite a few years.
