Abi is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and has in-depth experience of rural private clients’ tax affairs. She grew up on a dairy farm and has worked for over ten years with a varied portfolio of landed estates and rural businesses. Abi’s advice is particularly valuable at the outset of considering succession matters, strategic land development (including collaboration with other landowners) or planning for business diversification.
Abi also has experience of dealing with complex HMRC investigations, pre-transaction HMRC clearance, working collaboratively with leading tax counsel and enjoys helping clients to navigate any tax issues. She focuses on building strong long-term relationships with individuals and their families, to really understand each client’s unique position and provide straightforward advice to help clients make informed decisions about their business and tax positions. Through Abi’s proactive and pragmatic approach she aims to engage collaboratively with key stakeholders and third-party advisers to reach the best outcomes for her clients.
Abi has a busy personal life outside of work, living on the family farm with her husband and young children.
