Nick Hancock is a consultant at Albert Goodman and provides accounting, tax and business advice to incorporated and non-incorporated business owner-managers and sole traders. Having trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Albert Goodman, Nick became a partner in 1998. Nick provides creative money saving solutions to his varied client base.  The breadth of his client base is a significant benefit enabling him to apply ideas and solutions to clients in other sectors and always works with a smile on his face.

Nick is also a dental accounting specialist and is a member of NASDAL (National Association of Specialist Dental Accountants and Lawyers), and advises many dental practitioners across the South West region. NASDAL is recognised as the leading membership organisation for professionals operating in the dental sector.  As part of this role, he has advised on dental practice transactions, acting for both purchasers and vendors. In recent years, Nick has also been actively involved with a number of Somerset businesses and consortia, ramping up and supplying into the Hinkley Point C project, and the opportunities this presents. Nick has worked with some of the larger consortia involved and has helped them scale for rapid growth.

Based in our Taunton office, Nick takes great pride in supporting local initiatives such a TrullFest and Taunton RoundTable.  Nick was also the longtime treasurer of Taunton Vale Hockey club and in 2018 was presented with an award for his long service and announced as ‘clubman’ of the year.
