In May 2023 Albert Goodman opened the doors of their newly renovated central Bristol office. The office on King Street, Bristol, is twice the size of the previous Albert Goodman Bristol location in Westbury-on-Trym.

The move reflects the growth ambitions of Albert Goodman, looking to better service their current Bristol-based clients with a modern, city-centre office and a full-service offering from our in-house experts. Equally, Albert Goodman are looking to expand their client portfolio and their Bristol team by attracting brand new clients and top talent to the firm.

The Bristol office will be led by Audit and Corporate Partner Chris Walford, to continue to grow the Audit offering through Bristol and beyond.

Chris is joined by Partners and Medical Specialists, Sarah Edwards and Jim Duggan, and Director and Trust and Death Estates Specialist, Ruth Powell; ensuring the full range of professional services to business owners including Accountancy and Taxation, Financial Planning, Business Services, Audit, Private Wealth and Business Tax.

Additionally, the combination of the unique Medical Accounting knowledge and the range of Tax, Financial Planning and Pensions Services Albert Goodman can offer means that the firm is now well placed as the market leader in providing healthcare accountancy services in Bristol.

Previously, Albert Goodman had merged with the successful and well respected Bristol Accountants MW Medical. Geographically the addition of MW Medical extended the Albert Goodman client base to cover, Gloucestershire and South Wales and gave additional support to Albert Goodman’s position as Bristol Chartered Accountants.
