Are you after the next step in your Audit career? We’re looking for a Manager to join our well established and growing Audit team in either Taunton or Weston-Super-Mare. We are open to applications from Audit Managers or aspirational Assistant Managers looking to take their first step into a manager role.

As a Manager, you will be involved in leading the delivery to a portfolio of our clients, working with a wide range of clients across multiple industries to deliver excellent client service. Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising, mentoring and coaching junior staff including promoting audit quality
  • Acting as the initial point of contact throughout the year for your clients
  • Working with the audit partner, ensuring audit quality and excellent client service and actively driving all stages of the audit
  • Working with others to ensure we provide our clients with a holistic service
  • Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks
  • Helping to build the reputation of Albert Goodman

The successful candidate will have the following essential experience, skills and attributes:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with experience managing clients
  • Recent audit experience at Manager or Assistant Manager level
  • Excellent client service, communication and leadership skills

You may also have the following desirable experience, skills and attributes:

  • Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities
  • Experience of working on tenders
  • Established strong leadership skills including the ability to provide clear directions and constructive feedback
  • Experience of adding to an audit team, e.g. technical support, training and development
  • Pro-active, with a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Resilient, enthusiastic and strategic
