We are currently looking for an Insolvency Practitioner to join our main office in Taunton. This candidate will not only take insolvency appointments, will lead our insolvency practice following the retirement of our existing Insolvency Practitioner after over 20 years in the role. This practice provides advice to companies and individuals facing challenging financial situations and deals with the full range of formal insolvency appointments. It has grown over the years, having forged strong links with local work providers.

With partnership prospects, the successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • A proven track record of generating referrals / new business through networking and business development
  • Self-starter / motivated with a willingness to invest time and effort now to succeed in the future
  • Client / referrer focused and be motivated to provide the highest quality service
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Excellent people management and technical skills
  • Considerable experience of corporate and personal insolvency procedures
  • ACA / ACCA preferred
  • JIEB qualified
