To celebrate 150 years in business in 2016, Albert Goodman’s Partners and staff have been busy fundraising and volunteering throughout the year.
In total, the firm has raised a fantastic £6,859.19 for a selection of deserving charities. The charities were selected by the Albert Goodman staff who each had an opportunity to cast a vote. Staff from across all eight Albert Goodman offices have been working hard to raise money for six charities. These selected charities were St Margaret’s Hospice, Weston Hospicecare, Gracie Thorne Appeal, Julia’s House, Brainwave Centre and the Kings College Hospital Liver Transplant Team. The money has been raised through a variety of fundraising events including a 10-hour, 150km bike ride between each of the South West offices, a company-wide Bake Off, charity car washes, a hamper raffle and a book sale.
Nearly £4,000 was raised through donations to the firm and fundraising events. The first £3,000 raised has been generously matched funded by the Partners at Albert Goodman.
Richard Bugler, Managing Partner, comments on the team’s efforts, saying, “I am incredibly proud of each and every member of the Albert Goodman team. Our staff have been giving up their time, effort and money to raise as much as possible for our chosen charities. It’s been an exciting year at Albert Goodman, as we celebrated 150 years in business, and we look forward to keeping this momentum going into 2017. We would like to wish all our charities a best of luck for 2017 and hope this money makes a difference!”
