Andrew Brown on BBC Somerset

Albert Goodman’s team of experts are often called upon to provide high-quality  budget coverage and analysis to the local media but The Budget 2016 proved particularly busy!  With coverage on radio, social media and in the local press our team were able to answer the public’s  questions and communicate the implications of George Osborne’s budget to a larger audience than ever before.

Richard Bugler provided live budget reaction on Wessex FM , which is broadcast across Dorset and then provided a short video summary for the Wessex FM Youtube channel which can be watched  below.

Andrew Brown,  Albert Goodman Financial Planning Partner, was on BBC Somerset Radio answering  listeners’ questions for an hour during Ben McGrail’s morning show. Andrew talked about  different aspects of the Budget and provided some invaluable advice to listeners worried how they might be impacted by  changes made by the Chancellor.  If you’d like to listen to Andrew’s thoughts you can do so by clicking here

Tara Hayes from our tax team provided live  video analysis and budget coverage on social media as soon George Osborne had stepped down from the Despatch Box. The broadcast via live video streaming app Persicope has already been viewed over  500 times, including by local professionals and business owners.

Our Budget 2016  breakfast seminars held in Yeovil, Weston-super-Mare, Taunton and Weymouth, proved hugely popular with business owners and fellow professionals with over 275 people attending.  Tracey Watts, Sam Kirkham, Andrew Brown, Dominic Crilly, Sheldon Cole and Tara Hayes delivered informative and often amusing presentations which were well received by the audience. If you weren’t able to attend one our seminars,  Tracey Watts, Sam Kirkham, Tara Hayes and Andrew Brown summarise the key points of their 2016 Budget presentations in this short video summary.
