On Friday the 30th of September, eight Albert Goodman staff members set off to complete a 150km charity bike ride to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Albert Goodman. Starting in our Weymouth office at 6am; Iain McVicar, Charles Olney, Chris Womack, James Wade, Jason Belcher, Alex Covey, Steve Tucker and Lee Sadler spent a full day in the saddle, arriving at our Weston-super-Mare office around 4pm.
The intrepid cyclists were greeted enthusiastically by staff as they visited all eight Albert Goodman offices as part of the route. At the Taunton office, the firm was proud to welcome former Partners and staff members to take part in the celebrations, and current Managing Partner Richard Bugler cut a 150th birthday cake along with the firm’s youngest member of staff Charlie Stone. The ride has already raised over £1000 for our chosen charities, which will be match funded by the Partners.
